RELIGION EDUCATION
INTRODUCTION All member of the parish community of believers are called to share in the catechetical ministry by witnessing a lived faith. Parents are the first and foremost catechists of their children. They communicate values and attitudes by showing love for Christ and His Church and for each other. Parents nurture faith in their children by showing love for Christ and His Church and for each other. Parents nurture faith in their children by showing them the richness and beauty of a lived faith. This program and those who volunteer to share their faith are supporting the parents of the students they work with. The purpose of this handbook is to open communication between you and our religious education staff, so that both of us will be working toward the same goals.
