"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion. (CCC 1422)”
Confessions are available for scheduled hours on Saturday from 3:30-4:30pm and on Sunday from 2:00-2:30pm. They are also available at St. Mary’s parish on Saturday from 5:00-5:45pm, Sunday 8:00-8:45am, and Wednesday 5:00-5:45pm. Confessions can be celebrated any time by appointment. Please call the parish office 623-6201.
First Reconciliation for children is celebrated just before First Communion each year and preparation takes place in St. John’s School and RE ( Parish Religious Education Director: Carolyn Wethington 501-625-6144 ) programs. Enrollment takes place each fall. The minimum age for First Reconciliation is 7 years old.
