“The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life."134 "The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch. (CCC 1324)”
Holy Mass is celebrated every day during the week for those who would like to receive the Eucharist and have received their First Communion
Preparation for First Communion takes place in three different programs. For children, preparation takes place in the 2nd grade programs in St. John’s School and the parish RE. For older children arrangements can be made to supplement their religion classes with specific preparation for Holy Communion. For details contact the parish or school office or the Parish Religious Education Director, Carolyn Wethington at 501-625-6144.
