“By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed (CCC 1285).” Preparation for confirmation for teenagers is a two-year process that takes place beginning in 8th grade as a part of the parish RE program. The program meets on Sunday mornings at 11:30 during the normal academic year. The program follows the guidelines of the Diocese of Little Rock to prepare the teenagers to be true witnesses of Christ.
